Tejada Lighting Workshop

I had an incredible opportunity to learn from one of Denver’s renowned photographers, David Tejada – http://www.tejadaphoto.com. David is nationally known and highly regarded for his use of creative lighting techniques. Intimidated by my lack of experience in this area, I’ve always shied away from using off-camera flashes. I would limit myself to finding the nearest window or go outside to take photos. With David’s help, I’ve learned how to remotely operate my flash equipment as well as some very helpful tips (like the inverse-square law!) and now I feel more confident to light what I want when I want. These are some of my favorite images from the class. We used a studio space at “TAXI,” where Denver’s old Yellow Cab Co. used to be headquartered. Enjoy!
